The Challenge

A multi-location retailer in Malta with both physical stores and an ageing e-commerce site experienced persistent inventory discrepancies between channels, resulting in overselling, cancelled orders, and customer complaints. Their Shopify online store, in-store POS system, and SAP Business One operated as isolated systems, making consolidated financial reporting and customer analytics impossible.

Our Approach

redskios assessed the retailer's technology landscape and designed a unified commerce integration layer that would synchronise inventory, orders, customers, and pricing across all channels in near real-time. Rather than replacing existing platforms, we built middleware that connected them, reducing implementation risk and preserving the retailer's existing investment.

The Solution

We delivered a Laravel-based integration hub connecting Shopify, the in-store POS system, and SAP Business One. The platform synchronised inventory levels every sixty seconds across all channels, routed online orders to the optimal fulfilment location based on stock availability, unified customer profiles across online and in-store purchases, and provided consolidated sales and margin reporting in a management dashboard.
